Welcome to the Private Health Insurance Intermediaries Association (PHIIA) 2024 Survey.

This report aims to provide aggregated information on the number and type of sales and leads you process annually. This information will be used to better inform insurance funds and other authorities about the benefits of the services you provide, and your contribution to the Australian economy.  The survey will build on the “State of the Sector” reports released by PHIIA in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.

In 2024, the State of the Sector Survey has been extended and also ask for information about sales you have made over the last 12 months, broken down by health fund. The data you provide will be aggregated to provide information on the number and type of sales made to the various health funds and will be offered to the health funds by PHIIA as an additional, paid set of tables appending the main State of the Sector Report. 

Given the number of funds and the amount of data being requested, you will have the option to provide the health fund data by uploading reports directly from your system.
